Welcome to Rockwall Truth

This website is here to spread information to the ciizens of Rockwall.

Not to long ago, many citizens actually attended city hall meetings to speak and be informed on issues around the city. Most people do not anymore and there are less and less attending every year. 

 

They are long, wordy and can be confusing.

Some are too busy, they forget, or are shy.

Some feel the council "won't listen anyway"

 

Here we hope you can get all the info you need to make informed voting decisions from home.

 

 The goals are: 

-Know your council members and their voting habits/records

-Know your school board and their agendas

-TXdot/Dart plans (Rockwall)

-Know members in office and their businesses

-Know your congressman

-Know major Zoning Changes

-Know Major changes in ordinances or city services

-Know what your neighbors are concerned about, show up at city hall.

-Know any action by the city and boards

-know our city departments, the good, bad and ugly. (We can DOGE our own city, and stop wasteful spending, programs and dissolve departments.)
